![]() Facebook and Whatsapp were used for instant messaging, sharing academic information with classmates and professors. As a gratification, the respondents used You Tube to watch educational video clips on lectures delivered from other universities, watched Turkish videos to improve on their Turkish language skills. Likewise, social media platform commonly used included YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google group and Twitter. Findings indicate that 68.2% of the respondents used social media for more than twice a week to interact with peers for studying outside classroom. The study was quantitative in nature in which structured questionnaires were used to get data on a randomly selected sample. This study grounded in the user centered media theory of uses and gratification it investigated on the usage and gratification of social media among international students pursuing higher education in Turkey, through a survey conducted on a sample of international students in Istanbul City, Turkey. Conclusion: This study concluded that community radios if they are fully empowered and supported by the owners, the community and the government, they can make significant contribution towards community services in Uganda. Findings confirmed that these community radio stations serve all the communities through their radio programs which are packaged for the general community including farmers, religious communities, women and children. The study established that the majority (56.3%) of the respondents confirmed that their radio station broadcasts all programs including political, social, and economic, sports and religious programs respectively. Similarly, (34.4%) assumed that community radios are paramount in influencing community participation in development as a mechanism for improved community services. Result: Findings indicate that (51%) as the majority respondents confirmed that community radios enhances community services through educating the masses on civic and social issues. A total of 96 professionals from 17 radio stations in Eastern Uganda participated in this study. Through an online survey, questionnaires were used to get data from the randomly selected sample. Method: A quantitative approach was used to find answers to the study questions. This study focuses on the contribution of Community Radio to the improvement of the community services in Uganda. Dünya Savaşı öncesinde ve savaş sonrası ABD işgali ile başlayan süreçte diğer sanatların anime üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. İlk bölümde, Japon Mitolojisi’ne yön veren ülke tarihi ve inançları incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda Japon Mitolojisi’ne, Japon animasyon sinemasına ve seçilen anime filmlerinde yer alan mitolojik öğelere yoğunlaşılmıştır. Bu tezin amacı, Japon popüler kültüründe önemli bir yere sahip olan animelerin savaş sonrasında eski konumunu yitiren Japon Mitolojisi ile kurduğu ilişkiyi sinema filmleri özelinde incelemek, Japon Mitolojisi ve Japon animasyon sinemasının birbirini nasıl etkilediğini belirlenen örnek filmler üzerinden ortaya çıkarmaktır. Dünya Savaşı’nın kaybının ardından hızlı bir değişim içine girmişlerdir. Mitoloji ve anime, Japon kültürünün önemli parçalarını oluşturmaktadırlar.
